2007 marks a new beginning for the Gretsch company,
with the signing of CHET ATKINS estates back in the fold.
Three models will now be marketed with the "Chet Atkins"
signature on the scratch plate. The model changes will be:
G6122 Country Club range will now be called:
THE CHET ATKINS COUNTRY GENTLEMAN
The G6120 Nashville range will be called:
THE CHET ATKINS HOLLOW BODY
The G6119 Tennessee Rose will be called:
THE CHET ATKINS TENNESSEE ROSE.
All other models, including the signature ranges, will remain with
there tried and tested names.
So as to not cause any undue confusion, I have left all of the old
names on the site, for the time being. All of the upgraded models
are of the same high quality they have always been, still producing
"THAT GREAT GRETSCH SOUND"
